A master's job is
never done, it lives on through the ages.
The officers for 1921 were installed on March 25, 1921, with Worshipful George Jay Tyler installed as Master.
In the month of April, the bonds bought in the previous two years were sold and the balance of the three lots were paid off. This year was to be very busy with degrees as Clovis Lodge continued its phenomenal growth pattern doing degrees sometimes three nights a week.
In October of this year a committee was formed to see about office buildings being built on the three lots owned by the Lodge for the purpose of business income to help the Lodge continue to grow.
At the election of Officers in December, Brother Thomas Howison Jr. was elected Master and resigned in the same night. Evidently being Master was something Brother Howison was not ready for just having found out that he may have to go and fight in World War One. |
